At My Shepherd’s Ranch, we believe that what the world calls broken still has purpose.

Our mission was born from a simple truth: both horses and people are too often given up on too soon.

Across our communities, horses face neglect, abandonment, injury, and uncertainty — not because they lack value, but because circumstances change. At the same time, veterans, first responders, and individuals carry invisible wounds — trauma, stress, and the weight of experiences most will never fully understand.

At My Shepherd’s Ranch, we bring the two together.

We rescue and rehabilitate horses from difficult and often heartbreaking situations, restoring their health, trust, and spirit through proper care, nutrition, medical attention, and patient training. But their story doesn’t end in recovery — it begins again with purpose.

These same horses go on to serve in equine-assisted programs that support veterans, first responders, and others in need of healing. Through the quiet strength of a horse, barriers begin to fall. Trust is rebuilt. Confidence returns. And for many, it becomes the first step toward reclaiming peace.

This work is deeply personal.

That perspective shapes everything we do — from the way we care for our horses to the way we support the people who walk through our gates.

Our foundation is rooted in Service, Faith and Dedication.

We believe that restoration is not just physical, but spiritual. That patience, compassion, and purpose can transform even the most difficult circumstances. And that sometimes, healing doesn’t come through words — but through presence, connection, and trust.
