We Are Live! 🎉

Hold onto your hats, folks! The dream was envisioned, the plans were created, and the document was sealed tighter than my grandma’s secret cookbook! My Shepherd's Ranch Incorporated is up and running, and we’re definitely in full motion—like a rollercoaster that forgot to stop at the station!

Fasten Your Seatbelts!

At times, it has felt like someone grabbed our hand and whisked us through this journey, probably while we were still in our pajamas. So grab your favorite drink—whether it's a fancy cocktail or that questionable juice box from the back of the fridge—and your favorite snack (or charcuterie board, because who doesn’t want to feel fancy while munching on cheese?).

LET'S DIVE IN!

Get ready for a wild ride, people! We’re about to make some memories that will either be legendary or end up as blooper reels. Either way, it’s going to be a blast!

Welcome to My Shepherd's Ranch Inc. - Where Horses Get a Second Chance (and A New Career!)

With everything set, let’s trot right into the fun! At My Shepherd's Ranch Inc., our mission is to rescue horses from situations where they are either neglected, unwanted, or overlooked BEFORE slaughter or auction pipelines are a thought. We know what it is like to be on a financial restriction and make the tough decision to further animal welfare. We’re on a quest to prevent horse trading, neglect, and slaughter, and we’re doing it one hoof at a time. Our goal with these newsletters is to put them out once a month with updates on what we are doing, updated wish lists, and updates on events! Stay tuned for infinity and beyond!

Horses with a Purpose

We strive to place these noble steeds in roles where they can thrive by training them into service positions that best suit their demeanor and mannerisms. My Shepherd's Ranch Inc. is comprised of Veterans, First Responders, and Equine Health and Awareness Experts who together have a collaboration group of skills (like Liam Neeson "I do have a peticular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career" ) to organize, train, and place our equine partners into roles such as:

  • Mounted Law Enforcement: Because who wouldn’t want a horse to help chase down the bad guys? They're basically the original police cruisers!

  • Mounted Search and Rescue: When you need to find someone, a horse can cover more ground than your average couch potato. Need to get through brush that an ATV or UTV can't? Well, we can!

  • Mounted Disaster Relief: Because when disaster strikes, a train of horse can carry more supplies than your average pickup truck—plus, they look cooler doing it! We utilize the strength of horses to clear paths, deliver supplies in tight uncleared areas, or extracting people out when areas are too uncertain for vehicles.

  • Equine Therapy Organizations: Horses have a way of making people feel better—probably because they don't judge you for eating an entire pizza by yourself! We train the horses with PATH recommendations to ensure a safe environment in other equine therapy organizations for their success.

Our Journey Ahead

We have a lot of work ahead, but we’re excited about the direction we’re already heading. Our initial goal is to assist within Florida—because if we can handle the mosquitoes and gnats trying to get to our brains, we can handle horses! As we refine our skills, we’ll be expanding nationally. Who knows? Maybe one day we’ll have a horse in every state, and they’ll all be best friends with the local wildlife!

So, saddle up and join us on this wild ride! Together, we can turn a new leaf and rehabilitate these horses into heroes, one hoof at a time!
