Trainer for Search and Rescue, Therapy, and Disaster Relief

Hello! My name is Elizabeth. I am the CEO of "My Shepherd's Ranch Inc.". I created this non-profit with my COO because of my passion to help. With this, I want to be able to provide the training and security in horse counterparts tasked with jobs of different variations. I am a 4th gen farmer/3rd gen rancher. I have been in a saddle since I was 3 years old. When I got older, I used to sneak out of the house to be able to ride and be around horses. I would pretend that I would just be at the barn for 20 minutes when 6 hours would pass by. I have been riding for 20+ years with my building blocks in Center Riding. While in High School, I was volunteering with a local non-profit called Walk on Water Ministries that provides equine therapy in a safe environment, utilizing PATH training and techniques. I am very thankful to now have one of my officers being the owner of Walk On Water Ministries. I am a United States Air Force Veteran where I was Military Police. During my time in the military, I obtained my first horse that I had gotten certified as a volunteer mounted crowd control officer with the sheriff department. That sparked the fire in me to be able to train and maintain equine partners to ensure deployment and mission readiness in any condition. After the military, I became a Veterinarian Technician making me the "Medical" side of the Non-Profit. I have been in Specialty/Emergency, Large Animal, and General Practice Veterinary Medicine. I have been in the field over 10 years making my next goal, becoming a Veterinarian for the Non-Profit and surrounding agricultural communities. My mission is to give horses a second chance by rehabilitating and enhancing their natural capabilities! Reach out if you want to know more on what we do at My Shepherd’s Ranch Inc!!

About our COO of MSR inc! Timber, a 5th gen rancher/ farrier and the “Rescue” of the Rescue. Timber’s background consists of Blacksmithing, Firefighting Structural and Forest, mounted and K9 Search and Rescue, as well as an elk mountain hunting guide in the N West. His goal has always been to find a way to put his skills to the next challenge. We have that challenge, by taking all of his experience and smashing it together. Having the ability and necessary knowledge to make good horses, great horses, or horses with behavioral problems. Resetting those traits to something useful. His experience as a rancher and a horse hunting guide has taught him how to train packing horses. This is a lead horse and rider being followed by 6 to 12 behind while carrying supplies to make off grid campsites or supply trains. This skill can be leading horses through thick forests, rough terrains, shallow swamps or water crossings. His experience in Search and Rescue has been training dogs for air scent detection and ground scent detection, also cadaver detection in avalanche rescue. While we won’t be seeing an Avalanche in Florida, these incredible skills can be honed in underwater environments with some specific tuning techniques in k9’s. His outreach has been teaching a new generation of Blacksmiths / Farriers! Folks, forget proper hoof care is pivotal to horse health. Within 5 generations of blacksmith/ farriers knowledge he’s confident in providing proper hoof care from Equine to Bovine! Many, tricks of the trade under one hat! Field success is being able to identify early onset issues and providing necessary care for emergency situations for equine safety. Also emergency saddle repair and maintenance education! There’s nothing worse than a latigo ripping and you’re miles away from repair or replacement… Many more classes are being planned to attend! Reach out to myshepherd’sranch.inc@gmail.com if you’re interested in attending a class!
